The deserted and hollowed out skull of Liberty littered with the old skin of Socialism. A "new" socialist figure emerges from shed skin.
Obama represents "change" insomuch as a snake "changes" its skin.
Also meant to imply that the Democrats have finally realized that to garner max votes they should project a youthful, ambitious minority into the spot light.
Nah, Obama is not socialist. He is roughly as socialist as most socialists across Canada and Austalia, let alone Europe. Americans have a bizzare way of thinking, by the standards of the rest of the civilized world they are so far right that they see anyone who is not a virolent anti-communist capitalist as being Lenin.
Fantastic and witty! Not only do you have some serious skills in the art industry but you've got BO's plans down to the letter. Kudos, my friend. Isn't it kinda strange how nobody wants to know what kind of "change" BO is talking about? Just a thought...

Government is ignorant and will steal everything it can from you.(Reference: EVERY socialist, communist, or fascist regime EVER.)
That's all government can do: deprive life, liberty, and property from someone. Our Republic was set up to be different, namely, to protect life, liberty, and property. It has taken us many generations and several Amendments to the Constitution to give us our system now, but it was always based on free enterprise.
Right now, free enterprise weilds more power in America. They have the majority workforce. Once government becomes the majority of power in America, that is to say"Once government employs a majority of the workforce", you may as well pack your bags because fascism is right around the corner.

I am actually faced with this predicament myself: So say you've just come up with something that is pure gold, best thing since sliced bread. However, just then you realize if you make over X amount of dollars then you'll be taxed into the next century! What do you do? Either A, Do exactly like predicted and make money for a couple of months until it's taken away, or B, You don't release your idea to anyone, because you would sink back into the same poverty that you were at in the first place. In the end Socialism or "from each according to his abilities, to each according to his work", is the same as Communism "from each according to his need." The trick there was, who determines what is a necessitie is up to who is in charge. How do you determine need? However thats only a small part of what socialism is all about. To paraphrase "socialism must precede communism", Socialism is a transition to Communism, and Communism is inturn a step toward The synthesis: Utopia, Which (sorry to be a downer) does not and will not ever exist. In said Utopia only two things will exist, The Proletariat and The Means of Production, where all people think the same and share their wealths among each other. Wishful thinking. Oh and the part that I did not mention. Though the entire time the focus is on the Proletariat it's not total anarchy. There is a Leader, who considers himself a Proletariat or Atlest gives off that impression, who will be in control the entire time. Thus being his own antithesis, but not caring for he still controls the masses.
TL;DR: Look up Dialectical Materialism. and if you don't want to I will paraphrase: "Get what YOU want no matter the cost."
In Conclusion: "one must do the impossible, see the invisible. ROW. ROW. FIGHT THA POWAH.

Just posting my two cents here.
